Skincare

I am basic when it comes to makeup and skincare. I want something that is safe for my body, works, and has minimal ingredients. I have listed products I have used and continue to use because they meet my high standards.

Facewash

Wash your face using the detoxification power of clay and castor oil. This cleanser leaves your skin feeling smooth and not stripped. A favorite for those with dry or mature skin.

Massage a fat scoop onto wet skin to emulsify into cleansing milk that glides over the skin.

To use as a mask, smooth extra generously over clean, dry skin. Leave on for 10 minutes to work its magic. Massage with the pads of your fingertips before washing off.

1 oz (30mL) glass jar

Makeup

I have switched my makeup! I use RMS Beauty which is listed as a clean product brand on EWG skin-deep database. I love these products and Rose Marie’s videos for makeup application. I grew up not wearing makeup and remember my mother instructing me that when I “got old” I would have to wear makeup because my face would disappear. I hit my forties and it happened! Face Mask

Bring in the detoxing power of clay for a deep mask that will help eliminate toxins from the skin. Recommended for use weekly, or as needed.

Body wash

Before I started seeing patients and going back to school…I made my own soap. Since I don’t have time for that now, I buy mine from The Farm. I like that it is made locally and from minimal, basic ingredients. I tend to buy several bars at once because it’s what we use at our sinks and in our showers.

She makes several different combination soaps you can choose from. We still to the basics and have loved them all

Moisturizer/Serum

I love to use this healing serum at the end of the day to help melt away the impurities from my skin. Imagine washing away the day while breathing in the floral aroma of pure oils. Use 1-3 pumps on the tips of your fingers and massage into your face. Take a moist, warm towel and cover your face before wiping it away. Take a deep breath.
